6” Kennedy OS&Y Flanged Gate Valve. Fully Operable. Parts Or Art? From 1970s 1980s. Figure 68 is Kennedy part number.
Never installed surplus, so ideal for parts if you repair.
Fully operable, opens and closes.
Cast iron and bronze created by American workers 40 years ago in the foundry and manufacturing plant of Kennedy Valve, on the banks of the Chemung River in Elmira, New York.
OS&Y (outside screw & yoke) denotes it is a fire main water valve. Bronze screw rises out of center of handwheel to make total overall height 36” when open. 29.5” tall when closed. 12” wide at base and at hand wheel. Weighs around 185 lbs.
Included are four iron chocks (tighten bolts to suit) to allow it to stand upright.
Shipped LTL on a pallet (consider delivery to a place with a forklift or dock).
