Description
Myler Loose Ring with Low Wide Ported Barrel Bit MB33WL - LEVEL 3 Myler is more than just bits; the Myler System is a whole new way of understanding how the bit works in your horse's mouth. Ron, Dale and Bob Myler are third generation horsemen who developed a theory of tongue relief and tongue pressure through training their own horses. Their unique mouthpiece designs and innovative cheekpieces give the rider excellent communication with the horse and allow the horse to relax into the bridle. The 33WL offers the highest degree of tongue relief in a dressage legal mouthpiece. The 33WL port has been widened considerably to permit plenty of room for the tongue. Because this mouthpiece does not rotate on to the tongue and the port is wide, it applies little to no tongue pressure, working primarily off the bars and lips, incorporating some chin and poll pressure depending on the cheekpiece. This mouthpiece has Independent Side Movement. Stainless Steel Loose Ring with Low Wide Ported Barrel and Copper Inlay. USEF dressage legal (1/2012), FEI dressage legal (7/2016). Consult organization's rule book for more information. Level 3 : Performance horse with advanced training and a solid disposition. Experienced trail horse with a solid and trustworthy disposition. Riding in a Level 2-3 curb bit and showing resistance. Curb bits with wider ports for maximum tongue relief, little to no tongue pressure Uses primarily bar, poll, and curb pressure Curves to allow more room for the tongue Selecting Your Horse's Myler Level: Myler mouthpiece designs correspond to the Myler level of the horse's behavior and experience. The mouthpiece levels start at Level 1, which apply maximum tongue pressure and go up to Level 3, which apply minimum tongue pressure and offer the most tongue relief. Most horses can avoid level 1 altogether; its quite possible that your horse can enter the Myler System at Level 2, Level 2-3, or even 3.
