This is a nice used mahogany sideboard / buffet cabinet, probably made in the 1950s, by Heritage-Henredon. Heritage-Henredon was a cross-licensing venture between Drexel Heritage and Henredon furniture manufacturers in the mid 1900s.
This buffet has a serpentine front with narrow angled front corners that feature raised fluting. Across the top ore 4 drawers with gracefully curved fronts. Below the 2 center drawers are 3 wider drawers. Below each end drawer is a door, again following the curves. The door and drawer fronts have beautifully grained veneers. Each has a fine painted border line, that is most likely make to look like a string inlay.
Each door has a working key lock and 2 original keys are included.
There is a nice molded top flat base molding that follows the front and sides.
The mahogany top overhangs the front and sides, with curves that follow the cabinet shape. The faux string inlay runs around the top.
This is a beautiful cabinet, but does have some scratches and several marks. The most noticeable can be seen on the closeup photo of the back edge. We have done nothing to touch up or conceal any of the marks, but it would not take much wok to blend in most of them.
